when my grandfather passed away several years ago I cried at his funeral at the time I thought that it was simply because everyone else was and that it would look strange if his own granddaughter did not cry public grief is much harder when the person is a stranger how hard it is to be empathetic toward someone you never knew with people who do not understand because they knew someone who had no real part in your world until today how funny it is that it is now I realize I cried out of ignorance and fear fear of the unknown abyss yet surrounded by a cloud of lies if only had I known would I have cried even more .
